Nurses are the front line of duty every day. They consistently show up for their patients, even on tough days. They are kind, compassionate, caring, hardworking, and superheroes in the field. Nurses’ Week is May 6 – May 12, a perfect time to show your appreciation!

If you are interested in brightening someones days and being part of The Bright Project community, here are a few ways you can contribute to nurses during Nurses Week.

A handwritten note takes time and effort. It shows you are taking precious time out of your day to brighten someone else’s day. Your handwritten note can turn a nurse’s entire day around. A simple ” Thank you for your unwavering passion for supporting others. You are appreciated and stronger than you think.” can make a nurse who is ready to throw in the towel get fueled up to keep going. Appreciation is priceless to share, especially to those who deserve it. Your small gesture can have a lifelong impact.

Homemade Pastries

Are you a baker who says thank you to others through baking? This is the perfect time! Nurses work long shifts and need a quick pick-me-up! Delivering you homemade pastries to a facility can get them going. Sweet treats always softens the heart and mood.

Small Care Kits

Small goodie bags are always nice to share! If you need some ideas on what to add for your nurses, here are a few ideas:
